How do I access the resources?

Click on the 'Resources' tab from the top menu.

Choose to see the resources from either the Public or Licensed Tutor options. Licensed Tutor Resources are restricted to those teachers who have completed an Unlocking the World Tutor Training Program.

Resources are then listed by subject or program area. Select the document, link or video you wish to view by clicking on the link.

Why can't I watch the videos?

If you are attempting to view the videos in the 'Licensed Tutor' section, you will need to be a licensed tutor to have access and login is required to verify this.

All users have the ability to view documents, links and videos in the 'Public Resources' section. If you are experiencing difficulties it may be related to your own school restrictions.

How can I upload my own videos, documents or links?

  • Select the 'Resources' tab from the top menu.
  • Select 'Public Resources'.
  • Select 'Upload your own files and resources here' on the right hand side of your screen.
  • Choose which type of resource you are uploading: document, video or link.
  • Login using your email address and password. If you have not registered on our general website (not the shop) before, select 'Register' and continue through the registration process.
  • Accept the 'Terms and Conditions'.
  • Complete the form requesting details about your video, document or link, including title, description and some key words (tags) to help other users when they search (eg frogs, geopgraphy, nature, green). Include the link or file you are uploading and then click 'Submit'.

When will I be able to view my uploaded video, document or link?

The message, 'Link has been saved, it will appear shortly' will appear. After the activity indicator for your browser stops you may view your uploaded item.

I'm trained, why can't I view videos or documents of a program?

If you have entered your email address and surname when logging in to the 'Licensed Tutor Resources' section, but still cannot access the course you have been trained in, please contact us at admin@unlockingtheworld.com.

You will only be able to access those materials relevant to the training program in which you have been licensed.

How do I rate a resource?

By clicking on the actual rating stars, you will be prompted through the process to rate the resource. If you have not logged in to the website yet, you will be prompted to do this first.
